Monday evening marked our first workday of the semester! Lots of friends, old and new, showed up to enjoy the beautiful almost-fall weather and a bountiful late-summer harvest.
We pulled out some old tomato, cucumber, and squash plants to make room for fall crops – cabbage and broccoli transplants and carrot and beet seeds.
Many summer veggies are still going strong! We harvested mountains of bell and jalapeño peppers, pole beans, cherry tomatoes, rainbow chard, and basil!
If you didn’t make it to Monday’s workday, meet us in the garden Thursday between 10 and noon or come out next Monday between 5:30 and 7:30. See you in the garden!
